The South African Navy is hiring an Electronic Technician (REFNO: NAVAL/18/19/25/30) at Naval Base Durban. The position offers a salary range of R391,671 – R418,332 per annum and requires a National Diploma in Engineering, 3 years of post-qualification experience, and compulsory ECSA registration. REQUIREMENTS:
- National Diploma in Engineering or relevant qualification
- 3 years post qualification technical experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Special requirements (Skills needed): Electronic technician experience would be an advantage
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Technical report writing
- Conduct planned maintenance of electronic systems
- Repair electronic systems and equipment

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and information relating to electronic systems

- Knowledge of electronic test equipment and calibration 21 procedure standards

- Use software driven Test Instruments for testing and analysis of data for the quality of electronic equipment.

NOTE:
