The South African Navy is seeking a qualified Technical Material Specification Engineer to join Fleet Command HQ in Simon’s Town. This role offers a competitive salary range of R551,493 to R631,056 per annum and requires a National Diploma in Engineering, 6 years of post-qualification experience, and compulsory ECSA registration. REQUIREMENTS:

- Knowledge of planning logistic support analysis is essential
- Proven experience of co-coordinating and supervising engineering activities of subordinates and contractors would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Specification Practices, Engineering and Support Baselines is essential
- Proven experience of naval design work and developing logistic support plans
- Ability to read and understand specifications, technical drawings and documents is essential
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite
