The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) is seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual to join the African Renaissance Fund (ARF) as a Project Manager. - Salary: R1,059,105 per annum (Level 12, all-inclusive package)
- Centre: Pretoria

Who Should Apply? Essential Requirements
To be considered for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: An NQF level 6 or 7 qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Advantageous: A qualification in International Relations and/or experience in implementing international projects.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in a project environment, with at least three years at a junior management level.
- Key Competencies: The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public service legislation, project management principles, financial management, and the National Development Plan. Essential skills include strategic leadership, stakeholder management, report writing, negotiation, and problem-solving.
Your Key Responsibilities
As the Project Manager for the ARF, your duties will be critical to the fund’s success:
- Compile and evaluate project proposals for the ARF Advisory Committee.
- Oversee project planning, implementation, and resource allocation from inception to conclusion.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring timely delivery within scope and financial constraints.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure quality deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop performance reports, standard operating procedures, and relevant frameworks.
- Conduct project audits to ensure adherence to established standards.
