Are you a legal graduate with a passion for enforcement and advocacy? The Department of Labour is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join its team at the Provincial Office in Limpopo. Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A recognized qualification in BPROC, LLB, or BCOM Law.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Legal or Compliance environment.
  • A valid driver’s licence.

Knowledge Of:

  • Public Service Act, Regulations, and transformation issues.
  • Treasury Regulations and Departmental Policies.
  • Corporate Governance.
  • Skills Development Act and Skills Development Levies Act (SDLA).

Essential Skills:

  • Strong facilitation, planning, and organizing abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal, interviewing, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in court for the enforcement of Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES).
  • Managing the implementation of enforcement processes for IES.
  • Developing and managing the provincial advocacy strategy.
  • Facilitating capacity development programmes for provincial inspectors.
  • Compiling and managing statistics for the Unit.
