- Salary: R582,444 per annum (Level 10)

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of an NQF level 6/7 qualification in Financial Management, Accounting, or Cost Accounting.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a finance environment, with at least three years at a supervisory level.
- Specific experience in project management finance and the preparation of Annual Financial Statements in line with recognized reporting principles (GRAP/GAAP).
- Extensive knowledge of key legislation: PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Division of Revenue Act, ARF Act, and Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act.
- Knowledge of government systems and an understanding of foreign currency.
- Key competencies include problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication skills, computer literacy, and project management.
Key Performance Areas (Duties)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and monitoring Internal Control services for efficient resource utilization.
- Expenditure management, compiling terms of reference for SCM, and performing monthly project funding reconciliations.
- Preparing annual budgets and monitoring spending, as well as quarterly financial statements per GRAP standards.
- Managing the Financial Reporting of the Public Entity and ensuring compliance with all financial prescripts.
- Assisting in developing financial policies, procedures, and processes.
- Administering the disbursement of funds for approved projects and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
- Providing periodic financial reports to the advisory Committee and advising on investment opportunities.
