Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- ABET level 4 or a Grade 10 qualification.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong planning and organizing abilities
- A customer-service oriented approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- Basic conflict management skills
Key Performance Areas (Duties)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing catering support services for the department.
- Serving food and beverages during meetings and conferences.
- Cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Checking cutlery and preparing conference facilities for events.
- Monitoring the supply of food and reporting any waste or losses.
