Remuneration Package (OSD):
The salary is competitive and based on your experience level according to Occupational Specific Dispensation (OSD) regulations:
- Grade 1: R397,233 per annum
- Grade 2: R463,941 per annum
- Grade 3: R543,099 per annum
All amounts are inclusive packages.
Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A National Diploma, B-Tech, or BHSc in Medical Technology.
- Current full registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Technologist in Hematology (Independent Practice).
- While no post-registration experience is mandatory, any relevant experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Key skills required include knowledge of:
- Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations and procedures.
- Total Quality Management (TQM) and communication.
- SANAS Accreditation processes.
Key Performance Areas (Duties):
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of critical functions, including:
- Executing laboratory methodology within the field of Hematology.
- Managing sample processing and administration.
- Performing maintenance on laboratory analysers and analytical equipment.
- Implementing Quality Control (QC) processes and procedures.
- Contributing to Laboratory Accreditation efforts.
- Handling laboratory statistics and managing the Laboratory Data Management System.
