Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications & Experience

  • A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Risk Management or Internal Audit.
  • At least two years of functional experience in Risk Management.

Knowledge & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the following legislation and principles:

  • Unemployment Insurance Act & Regulations
  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • Labour Relations Act (LRA)
  • Basic Conditions of Employment Act
  • Batho Pele Principles
  • Public Service Regulations
  • Risk Management frameworks
  • Project Management

Furthermore, you must demonstrate strong skills in:

  • Communication, Interviewing, and Listening
  • Computer Literacy
  • Time Management, Planning, and Organizing
  • Analytical Thinking and Report Writing
  • Interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Implementing risk analysis processes and ongoing monitoring.
  • Ensuring risk compliance across operations.
  • Providing risk management services to Labour Centres and the Provincial Office.
  • Supervising resources within the section.
