To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualification: A three-year relevant tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: At least one year of functional experience in Supply Chain Management or Finance & Provisioning Services.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) is essential.
  • Key Skills: The role requires strong skills in supervision, negotiation, client orientation, facilitation, computer literacy, presentation, analysis, and communication.

Your Key Responsibilities: The Duties

The successful candidate will be entrusted with the following duties:

  • Provide contract and tender management support in line with relevant prescripts.
  • Administer open and closed tender processes, ensuring full compliance with SCM policies and Treasury regulations.
  • Procure goods and services for the province according to all governing rules.
  • Provide Inventory Management Support to ensure provincial effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage all resources within the Directorate on a daily basis.
